Check-in & points
Members scan in and earn points. One tap, one check-in per day — race-proof by design, even across many tablets at once.
01 / product · for nonprofits
An encouragement engine for youth & community nonprofits. Members show up, earn points, and spend them on-site — and the whole program runs on a fast system the organization owns and hosts itself.
Tap through a real station below — check a student in, watch their balance grow, then spend points in the store. Everything here is sample data; the real product runs the same way for a whole program.
Members scan in and earn points. One tap, one check-in per day — race-proof by design, even across many tablets at once.
Spend points in general, clothing, and hot-food stores. Per-store limits and category rules are enforced automatically.
Scan volunteers in and out for clocked hours, with an onboarding gate that blocks check-in until clearances are complete.
Per-member, per-category blocks that expire on their own — no nightly cleanup, no stale flags.
Print scannable ID badges and keep full member records — photos, documents, and history — in one place.
Live balances, attendance, and volunteer hours. Self-hosted on hardware you own — your data never leaves the building.
Built for a real youth nonprofit — and now being readied for others.
Hearthen began as a rebuild for one organization that had outgrown a tangle of spreadsheets and a brittle no-code app: duplicate check-ins, point totals that quietly drifted, nightly cleanup scripts that broke.
In its place: one clean system where balances are always correct, daily limits can't be broken, and it all runs on a small computer on-site — no monthly SaaS fees, no data leaving the building. It's in daily use now, and being shaped into a product other nonprofits can own too.
